Inspection tour: MoI Union Minister inspected No.1 steel factory (Myingyan)

Union Minister of the Ministry of Industry Dr. Charlie Than, together with Deputy Minister U Yin Maung Nyunt and Managing directors, visited the No.1 steel factory (Myingyan) on the morning of 7th April. At the briefing hall of the factory, factory manager reported on the status of implementation tasks.

And then, Union Minister instructed to carry out the tasks in accordance with specified norms and standards and to address the worksite safety. Furthermore, Union Minister met with the staffs and stated his inspection tour to encourage the employees who are serving their duties for the nation during Thingyan period and to resolve the difficulties faced in project implementation.

He urged all to make efforts for fully utilization of automatic control systems in the factory, to carry out technology transfer from experts and it’s needed to draft the emergency response action plan in emergency occurrences. As employees, they must raise self-dignity by serving their duties honestly and successfully, and try hard to be able to serve for the state and the people with the skills and knowledge, to make strenuous efforts in implementation of iron and steel manufacturing which are essential for construction; difficulties can be overcome with unity in implementation the tasks, it needs to be learnt the step by step iron and steel manufacturing processes till the skill level.

And also, the Union Minister instructed the employees to serve duties dutifully with fresh mindset in coming New Year and coordinated the needs. The Union Minister then had lunch together with the employees at the canteen in order to achieve better relations with the employees and to ensure that the individual employees have friendship and unity, it is reported.
