Inspection Tour: MoI Union Minister inspected garment factory in Myittha

For the development of domestic garment industries, quality improvement of locally weaved garments, efficient production of necessary threads for the garment industries, the Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected the processes of manufacturing high quality threads at No.7 Garment Factory (Myittha) in Myittha Township, Mandalay Region in the afternoon on 29th December.

At the meeting hall of the factory, managing director, factor in-charge and officials concerned clarified the servicing works of machines for enabling to manufacture high quality threads, fulfillment of necessary machines, and process of purchasing cotton raw materials in line with the procedures to manufacture high quality threads.

In responding to the clarifications, the Union Minister instructed to put effort to provide necessary threads fully for the domestic garment entrepreneurs as the state is encouraging the development of the MSMEs, to purchase the cotton raw materials with quality assessment to meet the specified quality, to carry out the servicing of machines and fulfill necessary spare parts in advance for the constant production etc.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister met the parade troupe which will march at the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day celebration representing the Ministry of Industry, instructed to feel pride for the opportunity to participate in a rare occasion of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, raise the prestige of the ministry by carrying out in uniformity in line with the set rules and regulation and provided cash assistance for the staff members who will participate in the parade in the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day celebration, it’s learnt.
