Inspection Tour: MoC Union Minister meets with staff in Kachin State

Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant met with staff of the special units from Departments of Building, Road, Bridge, Urban and Housing Development in Kachin State at the Director Office of Road Department on Wednesday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister instructed to complete the construction projects, meeting the set standards within the specified fiscal year. He urged officials to carry out the activities in accordance with the financial procedures, policies and directives and take strict action to avoid lossing of the state funds, through coordination with the relevant organizations.

The Union Minister also fulfilled the requirements submitted by the staff. Next, Union Minister U Myo Thant inspected the construction of 8 miles and 3 furlongs long Nanpao Airport bypass road and the 22 mile and 6 furlongs section of Shwebo-Myitkyina Road, being undertaken by Myitkyina District Road Department, and gave instructions to meet the set quality of the road characteristics.
