Inspection tour: MoALI DM inspected agricultural development

The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi inspected the rice plantations for seed production in Nga-Gyi Garat Village in Ma-U Bin Township and Hle-Seik Village in Kyaik-Latt Township of Ayeyawady Region and provided fertilizers.

At the meeting with the local farmers, the Deputy Minister gave necessary suggestions on the agricultural development.

At the Township office of Agricultural Mechanization Department, Deputy Minister met with the District and Township responsible officials on the agriculture, gave necessary instruction and inspected tractors, agricultural machinery and combine harvesters.

Next, the Deputy Minister met with the principals of basic education schools, library in-charges and responsible persons of the civil society organizations, awarded cash of honor to the teachers who taught the students to be outstanding ones and books and cash assistance were provided for the CSOs and libraries.

In the evening, the Deputy Minister also inspected the farm of dairy cows in Pe Yon Seik Village in Nyaungdone Township and gave necessary instruction to the responsible officials, it’s reported.
