Inspection Tour: MNHRC member calls on Magway Region Chief Minister

During the trip on inspecting Magway Central Prison and police station lock-up in Magway, the inspection team led by member of Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC) U KyawMyint called on Magway region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and the Regional Ministers on 14th February.

During the meeting, MNHRC member discussed complaints sent to the commission by the people in Magway Region and inspection of the Commission to prison, prison camp, cell and police station lock-up and implementations of the commission on the human rights and also presented Myanmar National Human Rights Commission Law, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)and the Commission pamphlets.
