Inspection tour: MGY CM inspected groundnut experimental plot

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with the Region Ministers and Region/District/ Township level departmental officials inspected the regional development works in Magway Township and the Implementation of Experimental Plot for Study of Interaction Between Groundnut Crop Varieties and the Environment jointly implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Department of Agricultural Research on 22nd October.

The Chief Minister and party inspected expansion of the breadth of Taung Nyo (Pantin-Myothit-Kanpya) (Magway) Road near Pho Lay Lone Village in Magway Township, heard the clarification of responsible official, gave necessary instruction, met with the local residents and coordinated requirements on their reports.

After that, the Chief Minister and officials arrived at groundnut cultivation plot owned by farmer Daw Than Nwet, inspected Experimental Plot for Study of Interaction Between Groundnut Crop Varieties and the Environment, met with the local farmers, heard the clarifications of the responsible officials, gave necessary suggestions regarding with the implementation for the oil crops cultivation and addressed the requirements upon the reports of the local farmers.
