Inspection Tour: MCRD UM inspected rural and regional development works

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with the officials made ground inspection of commodity production and regional development works in Yangon Region in the morning on 23rd June.

Union Minister and party inspected “Hla” Textile Factory in Dagon Seikkan Township, heard the clarification of the responsible persons of the factory on the work process and the Union Minister gave necessary instruction and coordinated requirements on the reports.

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected PEP dairy products factory, heard the clarification on the factory operation in Video Clip and the Union Minister gave necessary instruction regarding with the producing dairy products.

Then, the Union Minister arrived at the worksite of laying 2,300 feet long concrete road of entrance into the YoneTha Pyay Kan-Pyitawtha Village in Thanlyin Township, met with the local residents at the Village temporary briefing hall, heard the reports on the implementation of works carrying out by the Department of Rural Road Development, gave necessary instruction on the construction works, coordinated requirements reported by the local residents and inspected the status of laying concrete road.

In meeting with the members of Village development Committee and local residents at the temporary briefing hall of Pada-Gyi Village, the staff officer of Region Rural Development Department clarified the construction of rural industrial laterite-earth road with the Region Government allocated fund and the Village data.

In responding to the clarification, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction and coordinated and fulfilled requirements reported by the local residents. After that, the Union Minister and party inspected Xin Fa (Myanmar) in Thilawa Industrial Zone in Kyauktan Township, heard the clarification of the responsible persons of the factory, gave instructions and offered to fulfill requirements by coordinating with the relevant ministries.

Next, the Union Minister visited the University of Co-operatives and Management (Thanlyin), inspected the status to implement India Restaurant, kitchen and personal goods, Mini Mart, Futsal Court, Food Court, public recreation center planned to be constructed by Myanmar V.S.R Group Co., Lte on the 2 acres of land owned by the University and gave necessary instruction, it’s learnt.
