Inspection tour: MCRD UM inspected cooperatives training schools

The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with the officials concerned inspected the status of work implementations of the vocational industries and cooperatives activities in Mandalay Region in the morning on 22nd December.

First, the Union Minister and party inspected Sunders Weaving Institute in Amarapura Township of Mandalay Region and the principal clarified the trainings offering by the institute and the Union Minister gave necessary instruction, viewed the practical training of machine weaving, hand weaving, golden and silver embroidery and fulfilled requirements.

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected Mandalay Dairy Factory joint-ventured by Mandalay Region Cooperatives Society and Sanwady livestock breeding and organic fertilizer producing cooperatives Limited and construction of 150 Tones Rice Mill jointed-ventured by Mandalay Region Cooperatives Society and Agri Sun (Good Brother’s).

The responsible persons explained the work implementations and the Union Minister inspected the land plot where the 150 tons of Rice Mill to be constructed, production processes of organic fertilizer and dairy products and gave necessary instructions.

Afterward, the Union Minister and party inspected Cooperatives College (Mandalay) and the Cooperatives Bookkeeping and Accounting Vocational Training School (Mandalay), viewed the status of training, met wit the teachers and students, heard the reports of principals, gave necessary instructions and fulfilled requirements reported by the teachers and students.
