






The Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe, along with Ayeyarwady Region Minister for Transport U Nay Myo Aung and other officials, visited Thayet Chaung Village in Kan Gyi Daunt Township on 31st December. They inspected the ongoing construction work of the 4.5-furlong gravel road connecting Thayet Chaung Village and Konesu Village and the District officer provided a report on the ongoing activities.
Upon the village's request to continue the construction work for remaining road section (1 mile and 1 furlong) between Thayetchaung Village and Konesu Village, the Deputy Minister coordinated the necessary steps and emphasized the importance of collaboration to ensure the success of the project, which would result in high-quality outcomes. He also encouraged the Region agricultural cooperatives to actively participate in the process.
The Deputy Minister also visited Thapyay Chaung Village in Myaungmya Township on 30th December evening. He met with the members and leaders of the agricultural cooperative, the responsible officials, and the district and township head officers. After listening to their reports on ongoing activities, the Deputy Minister provided guidance on the necessary steps.
Following that, the Ayeyarwady Region Minister for Transport addressed the attendees. After that, the Deputy Minister coordinated the needs reported by the cooperative farmers.
Subsequently, the Deputy Minister and the officials inspected the work activities of Mya Pedigree Seeds Production Cooperatives society which is producing the Hsin-Thukha and Paw Tun paddy strains under the Union Budget approval funding for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
