Inspection Tour in Mandalay: Child Care Center & Youth Training School inspected

Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Aung Tun Khaing together with officials visited Child Care Center in Mandalay on 29th November and looked inot taking care to 33 children at the center.

On arrival at the Pathein Gyi Youth Training School, the Deputy Minister inspected the site chosen for the Rehabilitation Department, tissue banana plantations and the proposed for the construction of male hostels.

There, the Deputy Minister called for security measures of the training school, plan to teach agriculture, livestock and vocational subjects practically and theoretically, and presenting volunteering certificates to the doctors who are giving health care service and making efforts for the functioning tasks of the school.

The Deputy Minister and party then encouraged the students who are learning vocational education. They then proceeded to Mandalay Youth Training School and met the staff from the Region Social Welfare Office, training schools and pre-primary schools.

The Principal from Mandalay Youth Training School reported on taking care of 384 trainees and the needs to provide for respective nursery schools on which the deputy minister coordinated essentials. The Deputy Minister then viewed around the hostels, mess hall and serving lunch and gave necessary instructions.

The Deputy Minister and party then encouraged the trainees. He later went to No.1 and 2 Pre-primary schools (Mandalay) and viewed around arrangements for children to cater food and play freely and safely.
