Inspection Tour: Kachin State CM inspected regional development works

The Kachin State Chief Minister U KhetHtein Nan made a ground inspection for the status of food security and regional development of Puta-O region where it’s located at the northernmost of Myanmar at 10:30 Am on 14th February by Air. First, the Chief Minister accompanied by the State Minister, State level departmental officials arrived at Puta-O Airport, inspected the cleaning and greening works around the airport and gave necessary instruction.

Next, the Chief Minister inspected dairy cattle farm in Dottan Ward where the Friesian breed and local breeds of diary cattle, inquired requirements and coordinated necessary matters with the departmental officials. The Chief Minister and officials provided veterinary medicines, stock feed of rice bran sacks and 2 million Kyats of cash assistance.

Then, the Chief Minister also inspected the running of rice mill and land plot where an extended rice warehouse is to be constructed in LoneSut Ward. The plantation of soybean, wheat, corn and mustard for oil in MatPan (မတ်ပန်) field was inspected and encouraged to extend the plantation.

The State Chief Minister also inspected the agricultural activities in Myoma Ward, Pan Hlaing Ward, PuPaung Village of Puta-O Township.After that, the Chief Minister and party also inspected Puta-O-Laimaiwagyi-Nan shelKau-Manse Khun-Manse (Puta-O plain circular Road) construction project and gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned.
