Inspection Tour : Kachin State Chief Minister inspects work undertakings

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan accompanied by state ministers and departmental officials made inspection along the Ayeyawaddy River Bank for the implementation of River View resort project and the water flow improvement of Inn Jan Kha Creek.

First, the Chief Minister and party inspected the land arrangement tasks carried out by development affairs committee on a total of 24-acre along Ayeyawaddy strand for River View Resort implementation. Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected the safety measures conducted on shore, in the middle of the Ayeyawaddy River as well as the waterway changes in the river and sand and gravel production on the shore.

Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the water flow of Inn Jan Kha creek to prevent from flooding in residential areas and housing encroachments on river area. Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party inspected the Inn Jan Kha Creek dredging process, Bala Min Htin 200- acre model plantation, multiple crop plantations along the banks of the creek and accessing agricultural water from the creek using solar powered vehicle.

On 12th of March, the Chief Minister presided over a work coordination meeting on implementation of River View Resort project at the state government office. During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed on prevention of housing encroachments and plantation encroachments on river banks.

Then, the departmental officials made sector-wise reports on river view resort project and land arrangements tasks and the chief minister coordinated necessities.
