Inspection Tour: Impact of powerful earthquake in Bago Region

Chief Minister of Bago Region U Myo Swe Win on March 29th inspected the damaged roads and bridges in the region, caused by the devastated earthquake. Due to this disaster, parts of Yangon-Mandalay Expressway were damaged from 32 miles 6 furlongs to 115 miles were damaged.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed for speedy restoration of damaged roads and bridges, ensuring the safety of the commuters. The Chief Minister later visited Phyu Township People’s Hospital where the injured persons are receiving treatment and provided assistance. The Chief Minister and party later visited Taungoo General Hospital and supported the blood donors who contribute to the affected people.
