Inspection Tour: Dy Minister makes inspection to Ayeyawady Region

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tin inspected community center and library building which is prepared to be opened by Pantanaw Information and Public Relations Department on Wednesday morning and called for growing shady trees in monsoon season and gave necessary instructions.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister visited Eainmae Township Information and Public Relations Department and Myaung Mya District office and urged to conduct pre-storm awareness program and take the information with the passage of time.

At the Myaungmya Township General Administrative Department, he met Ayeyawady Region Ethnic Affairs Minister, the Chairman of Myaungma District and Township Administrative Body and members, the staff and ward and village administrators and discussed storming warning and preparedness measures, providing assistance, awareness programs and timely reporting the news.

He then paid homage to Ale Tawya monastery Sayadaw Buddhanta Pyinna Thiha and observed the Basic civic ethics duplicated course opened by the General Administrative Department at the monastery. This course is being conducted from 8th to 12th May and 240 students are attending it.

The Deputy Minister and party then visited a temporary shelter for people fleeing the storm on Myasein Yaung hill and encouraged to them and provided cash assistance.
