







Shan State Government held a ceremony to provide seeds and agricultural inputs to the flood-affected farmers in Inntein Village of NyaungShwe Township on 11th December.
Speaking on the occasion, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung said that a total of 8,830 acres of plantations within NyaungShwe Township were damaged due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi and today ceremony is organized to provide necessary seeds and agricultural inputs to the farmers.
He also encouraged the farmers to increase yield per acres meeting set standards and assured them that the government will provide requisite technological assistances.
Then, seeds and agricultural inputs were provided to the farmers and a farmer expressed words of gratitude on behalf of the farmers. Next, the Chief Minister and party met with the farmers and fulfilled necessities, coordinating with the departmental officials.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party inspected the construction of gravel retaining wall at the damaged area of YwaMa Creek and provided necessary instructions.
On arrival at Inntein Basic Education High School (Branch), the Chief Minister heard reports presented by the principal and coordinated requirements. Then, the Chief Minister inspected the area on Shwe Da Kyaung road where the silt excluder system will be carried out, and the work undertakings at U Hla Kyaw fish breeding camp,
