





The Kayah State Government is rapidly implementing public welfare projects such as regional development, rehabilitation, travel safety and security.
On Friday, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with officials, visited the construction site of the new Thiri Mingalar Market to inspect the progress of the construction work. He instructed officials to ensure the construction work meets the set standards and completes on time, fire safety systems and proper drainage systems. He also instructed to upgrade the main road leading to the market and worksite safety.
Then, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the work process of Check-Point at the entrance gate to Loikaw.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to systematically monitor and enforce the law to ensure that people can enter and exit safely and easily with smooth flow of commodity, and to prevent illegal trading. They also inspected the work operation of the fuel stations which were damaged by terrorist attacks. The facilities are now reopening to facilitate public transportation.
Furthermore, he inspected the renovation of the staff housing at the Computer University (Loikaw) which was implemented with the funds approved by the state government. The Chief Minister gave instruction to ensure the cleanliness of the housing environment and fire prevention measures.
