Inspection Tour in Bago Region: CM makes inspection for regional development

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win together with officials made a field trip to Thayawaddy district to fulfill the needs for the agriculture, livestock and regional development on Monday.

First, The Region Chief Minister and Party arrived at Kyun Kone village tract of Thayawaddy Township and inspected cultivation of high yield Vietnam monsoon paddy strain in 100 acres. Then, the Chief Minister provided cost for land reclamation, input and vegetable seeds to local farmers.

Next, they inspected a ranch of the local which is running with the State Economic Promotion Fund in Gwae Tauk Kwin Village of Lat Pandan Township and fulfilled the needs on planting nivea grass for substitution of animal feeds, to grow value-added trees on the bank of fish farming lake and to expand breeding of local chickens.

The Chief Minister and party then visited General Administration Office in Min Hla Township and met with district/township level departmental officials and local farmers. During the meeting, the Chief Minister urged officials and local farmers to report the needs for the development of agriculture, livestock and transportation sectors and implementation for the improvement of education, health and also socio-economic life of local farmers.

Then, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions and provided vegetable seeds to local farmers. On the same day, the Chief Minister and party made a survey on farmlands in Htan Pin Kone village-tract of Min Hla Township and Myit Thar Village-tract of Moe Nyo Township and he fulfilled the needs on implementation of water flowing system, paving production roads and producing quality seeds.

Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected extension of Lat Pandan-Moe Nyo-Natt Talin road and gave necessary instructions.
