Inspection Tour: Bago Region CM Inspected Rural Development Works

The Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win together with the region, district and township level officials inspected the efforts for the development of agricultural products in Bago Region (west) on Monday.

First, the chief minister and party inspected the construction of footpath in strand road and installing steel handrail in Pyay Township and instructed to extend the landfill of strand road as per the fiscal year and to deter the illegal tenants.

Next, the chief minister inspected the cotton seed oil extraction mill owned by U Thaung Aye in Gandama Industrial Zone in Pyay Township and instructed to organize the farmers to cultivate the long-staple cotton which is the raw material for extraction of cotton seed oil and produce personal use products from the cotton seed oil raw material.

Then, the chief minister and party inspected the 10 acres flaxseed plantation in Let Pan Su Village in KyoPinKauk Township and instructed to extend the flaxseed plantation as the green manure which is natural fertilizer produced from flaxseed to reduce the utilization of chemical fertilizers.

And to develop the cultivated land along the river and creeks to cultivate summer paddy and edible oil crop (sunflower) and to submit actual ground data by the township responsible officials to be able to provide irrigation water with solar power pumping system.

Then, the chief minister inspected the developing 123 acres of industrial agriculture in KyoPin SaKhan Village-tract in Let Pan Tan Township and instructed to submit the calculated data to upgrade the farm road and Myoma forest nursery garden of Let Pan Tan Township forest department and gave the necessary instructions.
