Inspection Tour: Bago Region Chief Minister tours in Padaung Township

On 17th January, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win accompanied by concerned officials made inspection in Pyay District for regional and agriculture sector development.

First, the Chief Minister and party visited Padaung Township, inspected Thuyetan electronic river water pumping system, met with the local farmers and encouraged to accelerate multi-cropping system for the development of socio economic status of the farmers.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the construction of 1 mile long concrete road in Thuyetan Village tract, stressed on timely completion of the process, meeting set standards as well as to plant shade and fruit trees along the road.

On arrival at KyarTite Village, the Chief Minister heard reports on thriving model peanut plantations within PeGyi, Thuyetan and HtaikPauk village-tracts, provided necessary instructions to grow sesame after harvesting peanut as well as landslide prevention tasks in KyarTite Village.

In PeGyi Village-Tract, the Chief Minister oversaw ZeeKone Creek dredging and ploughing process of 70 acres of virgin land, instructed on timely completion of the process and systematic farmland utilization. In Pyay Township, the Chief Minister visited MSMEs local product sale center and the recreation area along strand road and provided necessary instructions.
