Inspection Tour : Agricultural and infrastructure development in Shan State

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, accompanied by officials, visited Wan Khot Village in Mong Khet Township of Shan State (East) on December 27th.

The purpose of the visit was to inspect the irrigation water supply facilitated through a solar power system and to assess the progress of winter crop cultivation, particularly garlic. During the visit, the Chief Minister distributed fertilizer and agricultural inputs to support local farmers.

The Chief Minister and party also encouraged the basic literacy activities for the 2023-2024 academic year. This initiative is being implemented at Wan Khot and Kengpeng Village Prime Schools.

The Chief Minister provided assistance and honorary cash to support these educational endeavors. Furthermore, the Chief Minister inspected the ongoing road upgrading project that connects Mong Khet and Mong Pauk.
