





Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, accompanied by Deputy Ministers and officials, visited the sports training camps (Gold Camp and Youth Camp) in Naypyitaw on Wednesday to inspect the training sessions of various sports teams preparing for the 33rd SEA Games scheduled to take place from December 9 to 20, 2025, in Thailand.
The Union Minister and officials, first, observed the training sessions of athletes in track and field, weightlifting, wushu, boxing, billiards, Sepak Takraw, and archery at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium. Then, they proceeded to the Judo training hall in Cluster-3 of the Naypyitaw Sports Training Center (Gold Camp) to inspect the physical fitness training of Judo athletes.
Additionally, they visited the Gym & Fitness Center to observe the training of volleyball athletes and the readiness of gym equipment. The Union Minister and party also inspected the training of petanque athletes at the petanque training court.
Following the inspections, the Union Minister provided necessary instructions to the responsible officials. Later, the Union Minister and party visited the dining hall in Cluster-9 to inspect the food preparation and storage areas for vegetables and other ingredients. They also observed the athletes having their lunch and joined them for the meal.
