Inspection of Sports Facilities: MOSYA Union Minister inspected sports facilities

For the development of sports sector within Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung on 2nd July inspected the designated land areas for the construction of sports grounds and stadiums during 2026-2027 Fiscal Year.

On arrival at Bawgawadi Sports Ground in Pyinmana Township, the Union Minister inspected the fences, installation of football goal posts and nets and sprinkler as well as drainage system and water tower.

There, the Union Minister instructed on involving a football ground with synthetic running track and stages in 2026-2027 projects as well as greening and long-term sustainability of the football grounds and sports buildings. Subsequently, the Union Minister visited People’s Sports Ground in Pobbathiri Township of Zeyathiri District, instructed on systematic installation of goal posts, nets and corner posts at football ground and cleaning and greening of football ground. He also emphasized to involve fences and stage construction during 2026-2027 project.
