Inspection of sports facilities: MoSYA UM inspected sports facilities in Myeik

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan conducted an inspection of the sports grounds and stadiums in Myeik District on Monday.

During the inspection, the Union Minister encouraged the Letwei training course at Myeik District gymnasium. He instructed the renovation of athletes' changing rooms and inspected the bodybuilding gym, staff housing, Myoma Stadium, Tennis Stadium.

After the inspection, the Union Minister observed the Track & Field practice, emphasized providing sports equipment for public use and stressed facility maintenance for long-term sustainability. Then, the Union Minister frankly met with the staff of the Myeik District Sports and Physical Education Department.

During the meeting, he emphasized the ministry's comprehensive support for the development of the youth sector. He urged all to turn out new athletes, work respectfully and cooperate effectively. The Union Minister then coordinated the needs based on the reports.
