Inspection of schools: MoE UM inspected schools in Ayeyawady Region

The Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe accompanied by Ayeyawady Region Government Minister for Social Affairs U Khin Maung Kyi and officials inspected No (1) Basic Education High School in Einme Township, gave instruction on good looking of the school, cleaning and greening, better improvement in teaching and administrative measures and fulfilled requirements.

The Union Minister met with heads of education departments from regions, districts, and townships, as well as school principals and teachers, in Shwe Nyi La assembly hall at the school. During the meeting, the Union Minister discussed that the Ayeyarwady Region has the highest attendance of basic education students and urged the teachers to care and nurture their students to be disciplined, honest, and hardworking, so that they grow up to be good and knowledgeable individuals.

He emphasized that teachers should first strive to improve the quality of education for their students and work together to elevate the educational standards of their schools, townships, districts, and the region to a national level.Next, the teachers raised queries on their inquisition and the Union Minister along with the relevant officials responded to their questions and provided necessary clarifications and addressed the required matters.

From there, the Union Minister proceeded to No.2 Basic Education High School in Einme Township and Darka Basic Education High School in KangyiHtunt Township and oversaw the students who sat for their mid-term examination peacefully.

Then, he inspected class rooms, libraries, good looking, cleaning and greening of school and addressed the requirements.Following this, the Union Minister met with the Rector, Pro-rectors, department heads, professors, and staff at the convocation hall of Pathein University. He stated that the Ministry of Education is responsible for developing educated and skilled human resources for the country.

He urged teachers from the basic education sector, higher education sector, and teacher training sector to strive to produce well-rounded citizens and quality students who possess the necessary knowledge and skills for the country.

The Union Minister also discussed the need for providing university students with basic legal knowledge and understanding with the coordination of law professors and other faculty members and fulfilled requirements.
