




Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee Chairman and Mayor U Than Tun Oo, along with relevant officials, visited the Nay Pyi Taw four Sanvejaniya places (Buddha’s Birth, Enlightenment, Expounding Dhammacakka and Prinibbana) and the Migadawon Wildlife Sanctuary at the Satta Sattaha Meditation Center on Nay Pyi Taw-Tatkone No. (1) Road, Pubbathiri Township, on the morning of February 3, to inspect the renovation work being carried out at the Satta Sattaha Meditation Center and the Dhamma Hall. The mayor also inspected the painting of the enshrine in the Dhamma Hall to make it more admirable. He instructed that water and electricity lines be systematically renovated, and that the lawns and trees be kept green and pleasant.
He continued by feeding the animals raised in the Migdawon Wildlife Sanctuary at the Satta Sattaha Meditation Center, and instructed officials to expand the number of shade trees in the park and to systematically arrange drinking water for the animals.
Then, the NCDC Chairman visited the four Sanvejaniya places in Nay Pyi Taw and met with the officials at the meeting hall of the Board of Trustees Office. He emphasized that in order to keep the flourishing of the Sasana and always crowded with pilgrims, keeping the pagodas and surrounding areas in four Sanvejaniya places clean and tidy, offering alms, water, flowers and oil lamps daily, keeping the pagoda premises and the road green with plants and trees and continuously clear the grass and bushes on the sides of the road, it's reported.
