Inspection of rehabilitation works: Bago Region CM inspected flood rehabilitation works

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win together with the Region Ministers, inspected speedy rehabilitation woks carried out in Bago Township in the morning on 4th August.

First, the Chief Minister and party inspected supply of purified water treated with small truck on which a small water purifying machine installed on a truck and instructed responsible officials to notify wards and villages to supply purified water in rotation and convey the water with fire truck continuously.

Next, the chief Minister and party made a ground inspection of collective cleaning tasks carried out by the responsible persons of parents and teachers’ association and teachers and instructed to repair the class room chairs and flooded school furniture immediately and to add chlorine substance into the drinking water tanks and tube wells in the school compound and inspected a water outlet of moat beside of the school and gave instruction to the officials for the smooth run of water course.

Then, the Chief Minister and party visited Ma-Yin Village and encouraged the contribution of fish curry donated by Bago Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association led by the association patron, wife of Chief Minister and presented nutrient cookies to the children, paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of monastery in Village and offered cash donation.

The Chief Minister gave words of comfort to the flood affected people at the monastery and provided cash for rice for one month individually and inspected status of water receding of Bago River in Kyauk-Kyi-Su Ward on a motorcade, it’s reported.
