Inspection of Rehabilitation Tasks: SAC member DPM inspected rehabilitation work progress

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San together with the Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, U Hla Moe, U Myo Thant, Dr. Thet Thet Khine, Deputy Ministers and officials attended the ceremony of offering cash donation for the renovation of Buddhist monastery, Christian Church, Hindu Temple and providing cash assistance for the homes for the aged and Youth Development philanthropic Centers and inspected the arrangements of distributing relief items and materials to be used in the rescue and rehabilitation works.

First the Admiral Tin Aung San and party attended the ceremony of the ceremony of offering cash donation for the renovation of Buddhist monastery, Christian Church, Hindu Temple and providing cash assistance for the homes for the aged and Youth Development philanthropic houses.

At the ceremony, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung provided cash donation for Wei Lu Wun Monastic School, St. Mark’s Cathedral and Shari ShariMahadeva Bari ( Maha Shiva) Hindu Temple and the responsible persons accepted cash donation and returned the certificate of honor.

Then, the Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine provided 118.1 million Kyats to the Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin for the Homes for aged and Youth Development Philanthropic Centers.In the afternoon, Admiral Tin Aung San and party inspected the damaging stacked stone retaining wall at Strand Road in Sittwe, Concrete Road and Platform and status of re-building works and gave necessary instructions.

Then, the Admiral and party visited multipurpose port in Sittwe, inspected the arrangements of distributing relief items and materials to be used in the rescue and rehabilitation works with the power of man and machines and instructed responsible officials for the necessary matters.

Next, the Admiral Tin Aung San and party inspected the arrangements of distributing relief items and materials to be used in the rescue and rehabilitation works with the power of man and machines from the Pyi Taw Aye-4 vessel at Phaung Taw Gyi Jetty of Myanmar Port Authority and gave necessary instructions.

Then, the Admiral Tin Aung San and party inspected the damaging condition of strand road in Kissapa Ward and instructed the responsible persons to oversee the renovation and maintenance.

Afterward, the Admiral Tin Aung San Union Ministers Tun Tun Naung, U Hla Moe, U Myo Thant, Dr. Thet Thet Khine, Chief Minister U Htein Lin and Deputy Ministers attended the work coordination meeting on the rehabilitation works held at the State government office and coordinated requirements on the reports of decisions made by the related committees regarding with the rehabilitation works completion, plans to be done and status of work progress.
