Inspection of Rehabilitation Tasks: Rehabilitations tasks for returnees in Kawkareik

As the terrorist insurgents invaded into the wards and villages of Kawkareik Township and launched the battles, the local residents had to displace for escaping. Now, as the peace and stability are prevailing in the area, the residents return to their home.

For the residents to be convenient of living and accessibility of electricity, the security members, members of Myanmar Police Force, personnel of Township Development Committee and the personnel of electricity distribution are carrying out the cleaning the branches of trees and erecting lampposts and installing Power lines in daily basic.

In the morning on 11th May, the tactical commander Hein Htet Zaw, Chairman of District Administration body U Tun Wei, Police Lt-Col. Min Khant viewed and encouraged those who are carrying out the cleaning tasks including military battalions and units and departmental personnel at No (2) Basic Education High School in Ward (6), provided foodstuff to the health personnel at the People’s Hospital and comforted the patients who are undertaking medical treatment at the hospital.

The Chairman of District Administration body and officials also inspected the repairing works for the monasteries and pagodas which damaged by the heavy weapons due to the attack of terrorists. They also inspected the collecting of household lists of the returnees by the Chairman of Township administrative body and staff members, providing relief items to them. Then, they inspected the selling of commodities at Myoma Market and coordinated requirements with the responsible officials, it’s reported.
