Inspection of Rehabilitation Tasks: MoCRD Union Minister inspected rehabilitation tasks

Union Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development U Hla Moe who is currently in Rakhine State to oversee the rehabilitation tasks, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, Deputy Ministers and officials inspected the Technological University (Sittwe), Yay Chan Pyin Railway station, Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Sittwe), Rakhine State Hluttaw Building, Guest House and Staff Housing in the morning on 25th June.

While the inspection, the Union Minister instructed to carry out the good flow of water, grow the storm resistant, shady and windbreak trees and implement for the environmental greening and cleaning and fulfill requirements in responding to the clarifications of the responsible officials.

Next, the Union Minister and party visited Sittwe multipurpose port and inspected the arrangements to distribute the relief items unloaded from the Wiru-Pakkha and Pyitaw Aye-2 vessels to use in the rehabilitation works with full of man and machine power.

Next, the Union Minister and party arrived at 500 bed-Sittwe People’s Hospital, viewed the giving healthcare by the specialists to the patients and provided foodstuff to the specialists and the patients. At the hospital, the heart disease, lung and chest disease, Nephro-Urological diseases, brain diseases, neurology and epilepsy, rheumatology and gout, Gastro-enterologic diseases, liver disease, Hepatitis and hormone, hematologic disease, child hematologic disease, cancer and General diseases are being given treatments.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party attended the work coordination meeting on the rehabilitation works held at the State government office and coordinated requirements on the reports of decisions made by the related committees regarding with the rehabilitation works completion, plans to be done and status of work progress.
