







Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San together with Union Minister Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung and Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin inspected the completion of cleaning debris and roofing the buildings of Sittwe University and the Rector and responsible officials clarified the stutaas of work implementation.
While inspecting, the Admiral Tin Aung San gave necessary instructions. Next, the completion of constructing Double Row Single Layer Bailey Bridge at the site of The Chaung Bridge destroyed by the storm surge was inspected and the responsible officials clarified the completion of temporary Bailey Bridge and the plan to construct a new bridge.
Then, the completion of constructing temporary bailey bridge at the site of Dar Paing Bridge was inspected. The construction of those bridges was commenced on 18th May and were completed on May 22nd and The Chaung Bridge with the length of 140 feet and withstanding power of 16 tons and Dar Paing Bridge with the length of 60 feet and withstanding power of 16 tons for the local people to use in the education, health, social and economic affairs.
In the afternoon, the Admiral Tin Aung San and party inspected the departing of three ships Kaladan 4, 5 and 6 loaded the construction materials and foodstuff from Phaungdawgyi wharf of Myanmar Port Authority. In the evening, the Admiral Tin Aung San and Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung attended the work coordination meeting held at the Rakhine State Government Office.
At the meeting, the responsible officials from the respective committee clarified the status of receiving foodstuff and completion of providing, the conditions of completing electricity, road transportation, drinking water, education and health matters. After coordinating labour force, machinery force and other requirements to complete the rehabilitation works as quickly as possible, the meeting was concluded.
