Inspection of Regional Developments: Bago Region CM inspected regional development works

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win accompanied by the region ministers inspected Bago (West) region development works in the morning on 25th October.

First, the Chief Minister and party inspected upgrading works of Pyay Township strand road and instructed the responsible officials to prevent settlement of squatters in the road area, cleaning and greening along the road and to conduct constant inspection of the strength of retaining walls.

At the Myoma Market in Nattalin Township, the Chief Minister inspected construction of new market building and status of old market buildings to be upgraded and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials.

At Sar-Ni-Su Village of Min Hla Township, the Chief Minister observed the harvesting monsoon paddy model plot yielded 130 baskets with higher moisture content per acre and 117 basket of dry paddy and provided vegetable seeds to the local residents.

The Chief Minister attended an event of providing pedigree seeds to gain target yielding as per the crops held at Regional Research Center in Letbadan Township, met with the local farmers gave necessary suggestions.

Then, the Chief Minister provided winter groundnut (Viet Nam variety), black gram (TBL-9) and Green gram (Auzi, Yayzin-14 and Yayzin-16 varieties) and a local farmer expressed words of thanks.

Consequently, the Chief Minister observed the demonstration of Trichoderma fungi which controlled the plant diseases, bio-fertilizers, drought-tolerant (7), YAR-14 and flood resistant paddy varieties and gave necessary instructions to the officials to distribute the high yielding paddy varieties.
