







Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, along with the Commander of Triangle Region Command, State Ministers and relevant officials from the state, district, and township level departments, visited the CaturatthaSumangala Pagoda in Loimwe area of Kengtung Township on January 1.
They offered flowers and oil lamps to the pagoda and donated cash to the presiding Sayadaw for the all-round renovation of the pagoda.Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials inspected various ongoing infrastructure projects, in Shan State (East) including the construction of the Loimwe lake bridge, rural water projects in four villages in Loimwe, roadworks for section-2 of Pankwe-Loimwe- road and the planting of Cherry trees along the Kengtung- Loimwe road.
After the inspection, they attended the opening ceremony of the new Philanthropic library building in the Tarkwal Village of Kengtung Township, which was officially inaugurated by cutting the ribbon.Then, the Chief Minister presented documents on new library building and certificate of honor to the responsible officials of the library and toured the library.
They also visited Kyaileik Village in Kengtung Township, inspecting a pig farming facility in the East Mekhong village, where they observed the farm and distributed medicines for pigs to the owner.Later, the Chief Minister and officials visited a farmer training camp in Naungkon village, where they observed practical demonstrations of the use of EM-Bokashi and super- Bokashi fertilizers for crops. They also distributed seeds and fertilizer to the farmers and toured cultivated garden in the area.
