Inspection of Putao Region: SAC member inspected Putao region development works

Member of State Administration Council DawDwe Bu who is in Puta-O Township for the development of Puta-O region and regional food sufficiency, accompanied by the Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, State Ministers and departmental officials conducted ground inspection for the clean and green along the road from the entrance to the Puta-O Airport at 8 AM on 17th September.

First, the SAC member together with Chief Minister inspected plantation of ornamental flowers at the road sides along the Pyihtaungsu Road in Lone Swut ward of Puta-O and instructed cleaning of bushes. Then, at Mat Pan farm owned by Department of Agriculture at the side of Pyihtaungsu Road, the thriving of pomelo trees and sowing seedlings of great fruit and instructed to sow more seedlings for the expansion of plantation in the compound of local residents.

Next, the SAC member and Chief Minister viewed the landscaping and decoration with the shape of letters “Welcome to Putao” and coordinated requirements with the responsible officials to install new signboard of “Welcome to Putao” and cleaning and greening at the surrounding of Airport.

Next, the SAC member and Chief Minister inspected the statue and park at the entrance of Township at the junction in Airport Ward and SAC member stressed the needs to carry out the urban cleaning and greening constantly as the Puta-O is the only Ice-Capped mountain region in the South-Ease Asia and the development of tourism sector can be developed quickly and the traditions and customs of the local residents are needed to display in the attraction of the tourists.

The SAC member also inspected the flowing water in the creek from the Nam-Htwam Creek Bridge in Lone-Swut Ward, both sides of the road in Kaung-Ka-Htaung ward and the erecting of pagoda in the station of Puta-O stationed operation command.
