Inspection of prison: Shan State CM inspected Taunggyi Prison

The Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun together with the state ministers, state advocate general and the state government secretary inspected Taunggyi Prison at 10 Am on October 15.

During the inspection tour, the staff officer of Taunggyi Prison U Zaw Win clarified the security, administration, logistics and operation matters of the prison and the Chief Minister provided 2 million Kyats of assistance for the prison and the staff officer accepted.

Next, the Chief Minister, state ministers, state advocate general and the state government secretary inspected the male inmates’ dormitory (1) and (2), prison’s kitchen, mess hall, library, healthcare providing and place for drying the shirts and female dormitory and provided foodstuff for two expectant mothers with child, it’s reported.
