Inspection of preparations: Preparations for skill assessment inspected

The Union Minister for Labour Dr. PwintHsan, Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win, deputy minister for labour U Win Shein, deputy minister for health Dr. Aye Tun, director generals and officials inspected the preparations for the skill assessment to be able to award the national-level skills recognition certificates to 14 candidates for the Nurse Aid Level-2 at the Assessment Center in Nursing Training School (Nay Pyi Taw) on 24th January.

The Union Minister for Labour said that it’s needed to turn out the qualified skilled labours and to teach how to use the technological equipments skillfully and the Union Minister for Health said that it’s important to promote the qualification assessment for the skill workers at the regions and states hospitals, the relevant department of the ministry of health and the skill standard designation committee regarding the health workers need to regulate collectively as the private sector is conducting the nursing training course.

Next, the principal Daw San San Lin from the Nursing Training School (Nay Pyi Taw) clarified regarding with the Assessment Center and the officials coordinated necessaries. The Nursing Training School (Nay Pyi Taw) under the Ministry of Health has been recognized as a skill assessment center of National Skills Standard Authority-NSSA for the job of Nurse Aid Level-2 for 2 years from 25th July, 2022 to 24th July, 2024.

The skill assessment processes for national level skill standard of Nurse Aid Level-2 will be carried out from 24th to 28th January, 2023. The NSSA carries out the skill standard assessment for the job of nurse aid for the first time, it’s learnt.
