Inspection of preparations: Plans for 2023 pre-monsoon tree planting

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi inspected the 6.6 acres of land plot to plant trees with the 2023 pre-monsoon public campaign in Yan Aung Myin forest reserve, Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

The officials clarified the preparations and arrangements for the pre-monsoon tree planting public campaign and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions. In this campaign, a total of 1,980 trees including teak, cedar, bamboo, shady trees, forest trees and seasonal trees will be planted.

And, a total of over 226,000 trees will be planted as the 2023 pre-monsoon tree planting public campaign across the country. There, the Union Minister inspected trees planted in the 2022 pre-monsoon public campaign and gave necessary instructions.
