Inspection of preparations: Kayah State CM inspected preparations of schools

The Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with relevant officials, on 21st April, inspected the ongoing preparations for the opening of the Ethnic Youth Development Training School (Loikaw) and the Sports and Physical Education Institute (Loikaw).

First, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Ethnic Youth Development Training School (Loikaw), located in Daw Noe Kuu Ward, Loikaw, where they met with staff at the training hall. During the meeting, the school principal presented the current preparations for the school’s opening. In response, the Chief Minister provided cash assistance for the staff welfare.

Following that, they inspected the school's buildings, storage of equipment and materials, and the successful establishment of a poultry farm. The Chief Minister emphasized that once the training resumes, arrangements must ensure that the trainees can learn in a peaceful environment with adequate numbers of students meeting the set standards. He also instructed responsible personnel to make necessary preparations in advance for organized living conditions and to maintain good school discipline.

Continuing the visit, they arrived at the Sports and Physical Education Institute (Loikaw), where they inspected the completed renovations of the dining hall and kitchen, as well as the readiness of dormitories for male and female students, classrooms, and staff housing. The principal of the institute explained the current status of these arrangements. After that, they also inspected the renovations of the 400-meter synthetic track and the football field. It is reported that instructions were given to the responsible officials to coordinate and fulfill the remaining needs.
