







In the morning of 4th December, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, together with members of the Region Government and responsible officials, visited the posting sites in Khanti Township, Myoma Ward, where the second round of voter lists had been displayed. They observed and encouraged local ethnic residents and the public who were checking the lists, and they greeted the local people warmly.
After that, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to the Basic Education High School in Khamti, where local ethnic residents and the public from Paw Maing Ward were participating in demonstration test voting. They observed and encouraged the activity, coordinated with responsible officials to provide necessary support, and greeted the polling station officers and members warmly.
Next, the Chief Minister and officials visited a poultry farm in Thaya Kone Village, Khamti Township, where 1,000 layer chickens were being raised with funds from the National Economic Promotion Fund. They also inspected local cattle species and dairy cow breeding activities in Tha Zi သာစည် Village and coordinated with responsible officials regarding any necessary support.
Afterward, the Chief Minister and officials visited sites related to improving the drinking water supply for residents of Khamti. They inspected the solar-powered water pumping system with a 150,000-gallon capacity, the water distribution from the water storage tank to urban wards, and the conditions of ongoing factory operations. They also inspected Metta Yay မေတ္တာရေး Ward’s old lake dredging, construction of a new lake, embankment reinforcement, and water pumping activities, as well as the 50,000-gallon water storage tank in Zee Phyu Kone Ward.
The Chief Minister instructed all responsible officials to make concerted efforts with goodwill so that all town residents have sufficient access to clean and safe drinking water. Necessary support was also coordinated and provided in collaboration with the officials.
