Inspection of power plant: MoEP Union Minister inspected electric power plants

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun accompanied by the departmental officials inspected the gas turbine Electric Power Plant generating 145 Megawatt in Kyaukse Township and Thabyaywa 30 Megawatt Solar Power Plant in Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region on 2nd September.

At the briefing hall of Kyaukse gas turbine Electric Power Plant, the Union Minister and party heard the report by the managing Director of the Electric Power Generation Enterprise Dr. Win Myint, gave necessary instructions and inspected the status of Power generation and transmission in the Power control room.

At the briefing hall of Thabyaywa 30-Megawatt Solar Power Plant, the Union Minister heard the clarification on the data of Power plant, work undertaking on the civil engineering, solar panel installation using Tracking System and the Construction works of powerlines for the Power transmission to the Thabyaywa Power substation.

In responding to the clarification, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction and inspected the status of Power generation and solar panel installation using the tracking system.
