Inspection of office operations: MoHT UM inspected office operations

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Kyaw Soe Win conducted an inspection on Tuesday at the Ministry and assessed staff attendance and the adherence to regular office operations by the ministry and departmental personnel.

During the inspection, the Union Minister emphasized the continued provision of food and accommodation for earthquake-affected staff by the government, relevant ministries and generous donors. He instructed the staff to maintain regular office duties, wear designated uniforms and observe personal hygiene.

He also stressed awareness of disaster updates, proper use and repair of office equipment and responsible handling of documents and stationery. Departments were instructed to prepare for aftershocks with emergency drills and ensure clear access to exits.

He then heard reports on staff’ accommodation and transportation needs and difficulties. Based on the reports, the Union Minister explained the assistance to be provided, outlined further assistance and coordinated necessary measures.
