





On the morning of December 24th, Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khin Win, along with the Directors-General of the Departments, and officials, visited the National Herbal Park.
During the visit, they inspected the cleanliness, beauty, and maintenance of medicinal plants grown within the park. The officials provided detailed explanations and demonstrations on the management and care of the plants. After the visit, the Union Minister and party discussed further actions needed to ensure the sale of traditional medicines and medicinal plants to the public.
They recommended establishing sales outlets for these plants and opening food stalls to provide a relaxing environment for the public. The Union Minister also reviewed the cultivation of medicinal plants for six severe illnesses, ensuring the proper management of water lines and drainage systems, as well as maintaining the aesthetics of the surrounding areas of the water reservoir.
Later, they toured the exhibition halls and inspected the educational materials and brochures distributed by the Traditional Medicine Department. Following this, the Union Minister and officials also evaluated the preservation of plants cultivated by the leaders of the ASEAN member countries and discussed how to ensure the park meets the international standards.
