Inspection of livestock sector: Kachin State CM inspected livestock farms

Kachin State Government is actively working on region food sufficienty, agriculture and livestock sector development and promotion of manufacturing within the region. As part of an effort to accelerate livestock breeding sector within Myitkyina Township, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan made inspection at piggery and poultry farms within the township on 30th April.

First, the Chief Minister accompanied by state ministers and departmental officials visited a piggery farm in Le Kone (Ze Lon) Ward of Myitkyina Township, inspected the condition of the farm, coordinated necessities for market penetration and farm expansion and provided livestock medicine.

They also oversaw the production of traditional rice wine within the farm.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials visited a livestock farm initiated by State Economic Promotion Fund in Nga Oh Village, inspected condition of poultry and piggery farms and coordinated requirements on market availability and investment.
