






Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met officer instructors and officer trainees of the Command & General Staff College (CGSC) in Kalaw on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Senior General said that the Command & General Staff College is producing qualified officers and the officer trainees need to make continuous efforts from the beginning to the end of the training. Every body has individual goals and aspirations since childhood and must continuously strive to achive the goals.
All the officer trainees are the ones who are leading battalions and units and are taking serious responsibilities. Therefore, they need to carry out the tasks with the least mistakes. The Senior General added that if they systematically study and carry out the management of a battalion, they will gain invaluable experience in management and will be able to apply it to other fields as well.
The tasks will be carried out successfully only when they maintain themselves with consciousness. He stressed the needs to systematically learn the subjects related to military, the rules of the battlefield and apply them in practice. Only good studies will lead to better thinking and improvement in life and he called on officer trainees to strive for constant learning throughout their lives.
Later, the Senior General and party cordially greeted training officer instructors and officer trainees. They then observed selling of food stuff and personal goods with reasonal prices at the battalion sale shops. After that, the Senior General and party inspected dredging silts from the lake in the local battalion and called for renovation of lake edgings and silting before the rains and gave necessary instructions.
The Senior General and party then had lunch together with officer instructors and officer trainees of the Command & General Staff College.
