Inspection of installing HED: MoALI UM inspected installing HED

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Deputy Minister U Bo Bo Kyaw and officials inspected the thriving of cotton and sesame plantations for seed production of private seed producers at the Set Set Yo irrigated area in Pubbathiri Township in the morning on 19th June and gave necessary instruction to the responsible officials.

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected installing Hydraulic Elevator Dam (HED) in spillway of Paung Laung Dam and the responsible officials clarified the work implementations and arrangements.

In responding to the clarifications, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction and provided foodstuff for the engineers and technicians who install the Hydraulic Elevator Dam (HED).

Later, the Union Minister and party encouraged the farmers who are growing rice in Kyi Taung Kan Village-tract. At the meeting with the farmers closely, the Union Minister inquired the status of annual production, condition on the return of income and requirements and gave necessary suggestions, it’s learnt.
