Inspection of industrial development: MoI Union Minister inspected industrial training center

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than attended the special sermon delivered by the Rector (Oxford) Sayadaw of World Buddhist University Dr. Ashin Dhammasami at No (2) Stell Mill (Pangpet) in Taunggyi Township of Shan State in the morning on 25th September, took the Paritta Suttans recited by the Sayadaw and the dhamma discourses on the meditation.

The Union Minister offered cash donation and offertories to the Sayadaw, shared the merits gained and the offered ‘soon’ day meal to the members of Sangha. In the evening, the Union Minister held meeting with the personnel from the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection in Mandalay, gave necessary instructions and fulfilled requirements reported by the personnel.

Next, the Union Minister visited No (2) Industrial Training Centre (Mandalay), inspected the upgrading works implementing with the assistance of the People’s Republic of China, met with the principal and teachers at the meeting hall of the training centre and necessary guidance.
