Inspection of Hotel Zone: MoHT UM inspected hotel zone and State guesthouse

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Kyaw Soe Win conducted an inspection of the cleanliness, tidiness, and aesthetic conditions of hotels located within Hotel Zone (1) of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, as well as the hotels within the Nay Pyi Taw State Guesthouse Complex.

He also examined the restoration and maintenance work carried out on damages caused by the Mandalay earthquake. In the afternoon on July 7, the Union Minister visited hotels along Razathingaha Main Road in Dekkhinathiri Township, Hotel Zone (1), and inspected their current cleanliness and beautification efforts.

He also listened to briefings from general managers and responsible persons from the hotels and provided guidance on necessary improvements. Continuing his inspection, the Union Minister visited the hotels within the Nay Pyi Taw Guesthouse Complex in the morning on July 8.

He emphasized that as Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory hosts Union-level government offices and regularly accommodates not only national-level ceremonies but also international events, forums, workshops, and meetings, the hotels must be well-prepared to offer services that meet international standards.

He further instructed responsible officials to ensure the facilities are clean, organized, visually appealing, and maintain a dignified appearance in line with modern hotel standards.
