Inspection of Hospitals: MoH UM inspected hospitals in Yangon

Union Minister for Health Prof: Dr. Thet Khaing Win accompanied by the Directors General of the departments and officials visited Hospitals in Yangon and inspected serving of hospital routines in the afternoon on 20th August.

Union Minister and party arrived at Yangon Children Hospital, inspected the medical service ward, children operation word, neonatal medical service ward, Intensive Care Unit and Children Orthopedic ward and the medical superintendent and medical specialists clarified the status of medical Services.

Then, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction, inspected new annex 6-storey building constructed by construction special unit-1 and instructed to carry out transferring and accepting as fast as possible and to prepare for giving treatment of inpatients.

In the evening, the Union Minister and party arrived at Eye Specialty Hospital, inspected Outside Patients Department, Emergency Department, Lab room, X-Ray room, Glaucoma special examining room and ophthalmological special examining room in ground floor, inquired capacity of medical service for patients and gave necessary instruction.

Next, the Union Minister inspected medical wards in first, second and third floors, met with the health personnel and gave required instructions. Union Minister and party also visited and inspected Yangon Ear, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck Surgery specialty Hospital and coordinated requirements, it’s learnt.
