Inspection of Hospital: MoH Union Minister inspected hospital in Pyin Oo Lwin

Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win together with Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and Senior officials from the Ministry visited 300-bed Pyin Oo Lwin People’s Hospital in the afternoon on 1st October, met with the responsible officials from the hospital and gave necessary instructions.
The Union said that the Ministry is implementing to enhance health and sports sectors inclusive of all the people to enhance the longevity and health of the entire nation.
And the healthcare tasks are being enhanced with momentum since after dropping the COVID-19 spreading, the mobile specialists team comprised of field specialty physicians are rendering healthcare service across the country, the medication and medical equipment required in giving health service to the public are being provided more than before, the Ministry is arranging for easing the out of pocket expenditure of the people and supervising the private healthcare service sector to be systematic, the hospitals of 50 beds to above are going to upgrade equipping with the laboratory, X-Ray room and the specialty healthcare service etc.
Next, the medical superintendent Dr. Thin Thin Ei and the field specialty physicians clarified the work implementations and the Director General of the Medical Service Department Dr. Myat Wunna Soe supplemented necessary matters and the Union Minister gave required instruction and coordinated necessaries.
Then, the Union Minister and party inspected the status of systematic storage in medical warehouse, preparations for the Medical Resort Center, tasks implementing in laboratory and the operation theater and encouraged the patients who are seeking medical service in the hospital.
