






Member of the State Administration Council U Shwe Kyein, U Yan Kyaw, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and officials visited Hopang People’s Hospital of “Wa” Self-Administered Division on Thursday and gave encouragements to local people receiving medical treatments and provided nutritious food.
The SAC members U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw then provided cash for Hopang People’s Hospital through the Medical Superintendent, doctors and nurses. At the Mya Theindan Pariyatti monastery in Hopang, the SAC members and party paid homage to the Sayadaws in Hopang and donated cash and offertories.
At the Wunna Kyaw Htin Sao Khun San Hall in Hopang, the SAC members met with District/Township Administrative bodies of “Wa” Self-Administered Division, departmental officials, ethnic cultural troupes, town elders, locals and entrepreneurs.
At the meeting, SAC member U Yan Kyaw said that it needs to make efforts for all ethnic people to be educated and in the economic sector, the agriculture needs to be carried out systematically. In addition to industrial product production, agriculturalists and livestock breeding experts are needed.
In order to emerge professionals, he said that everyone needs to help school-aged children to go to the schools. Later, SAC member U Shwe Kyein said that all ethnic people are diverse and live in different places.
All ethnic people are working together in economic and social affairs. He added that the government is focusing on the agriculture and livestock industries and efforts will be made to boost the production and stressed on producing intellectuals and intelligentsia and the children to be educated ones.
Then, directors of the Department of Rural Development, the Agricultural Department and the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department reported on sector-wise implementations on which the Shan State Chief Minister supplemented on the reports.
The SAC members and party then presented honoraria for ethic cultural troupes in Hopang respectively and they then cordially greeted the attendees and viewed around MSMEs products of Hopang.
Afterwards, they looked into new Thanlwin River Crossing Bridge (Kunlong) in Lashio District and inspected construction of Namt Thein bridge No.(1/1) on Nant Hu (Kunlong)-Hopang-Mong Maw road.
