





The 80th Anniversary Armed Forces Day military parade will take place On March 27, 2025. The parade columns participating in the march-past on March 24 conducted full-dress rehearsals at the Naypyidaw parade ground.
During the rehearsal, officers, troops, and female service members from seven parade columns marched in unison from the assembly point at the Thittat Camp to the main parade ground. Accompanied by the military bands of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as the Myanmar Police Force band, they sang marching songs with full morale and carried out the parade procedures according to the event schedule.
The rehearsal was inspected by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Kyaw Swar Lin, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Organizing Committee and Chief of Military Training Lt. Gen. Htein Win, Senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-In-Chief, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Management Committee Commander of Naypyidaw Command MaJ-Gen. Soe Min And responsible officials.
During the inspection, the SAC Vice-Chairman and officials observed the flag-bearing unit and parade columns entering and positioning on the parade ground, seating arrangements for distinguished guests attending the 80th Armed Forces Day ceremony, installation of Simultaneous Interpretation System (SIS) equipment for international guests, entry and positioning of the mounted cavalry unit and VIP motorcade.
Additionally, the SAC Vice-Chairman and officials reviewed, the timely formation flights by fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters of the Air Force, Uniform and ceremonial dress standards of the flag-bearing unit and parade battalions, preparation of parade flags, small arms, and military equipment, detailed movements of each parade companies, and necessary coordination and adjustments were made with responsible officials as needed.
The military parade will feature officers and personnel from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Myanmar Police Force, including female service members and special women’s units. Aircraft and helicopters from the Air Force will also participate.
